Overview
Before an assessment can be launched, the risk team must first ensure that each risk and control in the assessment's scope has been assigned to a risk and control owner, respectively.
User Account Requirements
The user account you use to log into Resolver must be part of the Risk Team user group to assign risk and control owners.

Navigation
- From the Home screen, click the Home menu.

- Click the Risk Management link.

- From the Identify Risk screen click the Launch Risk Assessment tab.

- From the Launch Risk Assessment screen, click on an assessment link in the Risk Assessment Planning, Process Risk Assessment Planning, or Objective Risk Assessment Planning sections.

Assigning Risk Owners
From the Risk Assessment screen, click on a Risk (R) node on the Navigation Tree.

- From the Risk Details tab, enter a User or User Group name in the Risk Owner field and select a user or user group from the dropdown menu. Multiple risk owners can be assigned to a single risk.

- (Optional) Enter a User or User Group name in the Risk Delegate field and select a user or user group from the dropdown menu. Multiple risk delegates can be assigned to a single risk.

- When each risk has been assigned an owner, send the objects to their respective owners by selecting the Send to Risk Owner button at the bottom of the Risk Details tab.
