Indicator owners are responsible for ensuring that the current value of their assigned KRIs are up to date. KRIs are attached to a risk and assigned to the indicator owner upon creation. All KRIs that require action from the indicator owner appear on the My Tasks page.
To update a KRI:
Log into a user account that's been added to the Indicator Owner user group to display the My Tasks page.
- Click a control to open the Update Indicator form.
- Optional: Edit the name in the Indicator Name and Description fields as needed.
- In the Input Current Values section:
Enter the current value of the KRI in the Current Value field.
Optional: If special circumstances grant this KRI a different rating than the automatically generated one, change the value of the Override Required? field to Yes. Select the new indicator rating in the Override Value select list.
Enter an explanation for the current value of the KRI in the Indicator Commentary field.
Optional: Drag or browse for a file in the Supporting Attachments field. Files can be up to 100 MB in size. Most files types are accepted, however, you cannot upload files with the following extensions:
Optional: In the Historical Trending section, you can view historical data for the KRI's current value and indicator rating on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
Optional: Expand the Related Data section to view the risks and objectives the KRI is attached to. Clicking on a risk or objective will display its Review Risk Assessment or Review Objective form.
Optional: Add comments, as needed.
Click Complete Update.
